Trust fund

A trust fund is a legal arrangement in which assets are held and managed by a trustee on behalf of one or more beneficiaries. The trustee is responsible for managing these assets according to specific instructions set out when the trust is established.

Trust funds can be used to manage and protect assets, provide financial support to beneficiaries, and determine how and when assets are distributed. They are therefore often used as part of long-term financial and estate planning.
